Should the seller offer compensation in lieu of home repairs?

Often times home sellers find themselves in a bind with cash on hand or they are dealing with a weak buyer that could end up not compleating the deal. This leaves the home seller feeling exposed and reluctant to do home repairs. Some would rather negotiate compensation than repairs. It doesn’t always work but it helps to have the option.
