Someone who has sold homes when no other real estate agent seemed to be able to in 2008.
Don’t let the staging tricks have their effect on you.
Staging is mostly good for the seller, but not the buyer. They want to sell quick and for top dollar. Can’t really blame them. You on the other hand, YOU want to buy the best house, with the best fit, for the best price.
You’re buying a house and a home … not the staging furniture and a bunch of accessories.
Some of the staging I see in the Kalamazoo area is somewhat deceptive. A lot of Stagers put small dining tables in dining rooms to make a space look bigger. I’ll tell you how to know if the room is big or not … Measure it with a tape measure.
Mostly these Stagers are decorators at best. They are not real professional, experienced, talented, skillful, and insightful interior designers. There aren’t that many of these types in Kalamazoo.
You’re buying architecture in a floor plan! Make sure that floor plan works for you! No sense eyeballing it and then wondering if your furniture will really fit for you and your lifestyle, now and for in the future.
A lot of people playing decorator and designer for such a large purchase as a home and your money.
