Bengaluru: Techie, who left home to meet prospective buyer for his car, goes missing

A 29-year-old software engineer has been missing from Bengaluru’s Whitefield since December 18. Ajitabh Kumar, who hailed from Bihar’s Patna, had left his home in Bengaluru at around 6:30 pm on dec 18. He has not returned home since then. The friends of Ajitabh Kumar, who worked at British Telecom, revealed that he had put up an advertisement to sell his car on the online marketplace. They suspect that Ajitabh might have received a call from a prospective buyer, the day he went missing. Ajitabh was last active on WhatsApp till around 7:10 pm on the same day. His phone later got switched off and the last location of the mobile phone was Gunjur. Ajitabh moved to Bengaluru in 2010. He wanted to sell his sedan to join the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Kolkata in 2018.
